howdy! a few weekends ago we all went out to celebrate the men’s vball first league game and victory where they shut down juniata in 3! i am not a skirts/dresses at a party kinda girl, so i played it more comfy in jeans and some gnarly heels.
(disco diva? haha!)
i wore these bell bottoms on new years and i am completely in love. they are a bit higher wasted than most of my other jeans and obviously have some serious flare happening! i have been wanting a pair like this for a while and these are oh so perfect.

it was a fun night. plus, i always love me some fishtail braids!
hope the start of your week has been grand.
remember when i said i was gonna post what i wore the second day of school? yeah, over three weeks ago. well i am finally doing it. i am embarrassed and amused all at the same time!
this may sound silly but this outfit is a little bit loud for me. it is mostly neutrals- pale pink, white, shades of brown, and plum- but the color combo and the fabrics are not something i would usually choose. for some reason that morning i said “what the heck” and put it all on, and ya know what? i loved it! i was comfortable and cute and all around happiness.
outfit details: all from forever21… scary!! haha.
lesson learned i guess… step out of my comfort zone and good things can happen. have you ever had an experience like this? i would love to here about it/see it!
i am excited to start this week! i have a feeling it’s going to be great.
much love friends, xo A.
today was the first day of winter quarter! i can hardly believe it. i’m getting so close to being done!
well, i started the quarter off just about right… oversleeping of course haha. set my alarm for 7:50pm instead of am. OOPS! but you know it all worked out pretty well. i got to class on time, early even.
what i decided today is that these boots can make any outfit look more put together than it actually is! i love it in times like this morning.. dark skinny jeans and a sweater are instantly cuter. at least i think so hehe
p.s. i painted my nails rainbow colors. it makes me happy. eeep, just look at ’em!

part 2 will come tomorrow! tonight i am off to the first men’s volleyball team home game to root on thomas and our other friends. should be a fun time.
happy monday friends. xo A.
happy thursday friends.
growing up i had the straightest hair you ever did see. it was nice, so easy but of course i had some complaints. as anyone with crazy straight hair knows, that is the only thing it does- no waves, no curls. over the last few years my hair has changed a bit and to my surprise and delight it has a bit of a wave to it now! alas, the past few days i have had a craving for stick straight hair.
thomas and i walked to a little deli down the street this afternoon, so i decided it was a perfect opportunity for some outfit pics, straight hair included. i felt like a gypsy fluttering around town today. i’m not entirely sure why… there was nothing particularly boho about this outfit. but still it was a fun and comfy outfit for a perfectly casual day.
outfit details: star button up//express ; jeans//american eagle (housemate’s) ; gray flats//uo ; bag//target (i think) years ago
the flats are so very casual but are one of the best purchases ever. i need to go back to urban and get more. maybe in every color! i’m off to the seymour center tomorrow and looking forward to it, but not the numbing cold water…
its my last few days of freedom and i am not going to take them for granted!
after lounging around until nearly 1 o’clock today i decided to get up and run some errands- bank, goodwill, grocery store… the usual. here is what i wore:
outfit details: sunnies//free, not sure why…; cardigen//kenneth cole (from costco!); tee//zen threads (christmas gift); shorts//uo; tights (not really visible)//target; flats//uo
i tried veronika of tick tock vintage’s messy bun tutorial… it didn’t go so well hehe. i didn’t have the right bobby pins and threw it up in a hurry. i love the look though. its totally my style, and fast and easy- always a plus for a crazy college student!
found a few things at goodwill. maybe i’ll post about them tomorrow. we shall see…
have a lovely evening!
